Crunchyroll is one of the most-used anime websites in the world, but it seems that the service is down for many.

The users have been having issues with the service in the last few days, but it seems that it’s down for many, so let’s see what’s going on.

Crunchyroll is down for many, and the cause remains unknown

Over the past week, many users had issues with Crunchyroll according to itsDowndetector page. It seems all platforms, including PC, Android, Roku, Fire TV, and more, have been affectedaccording to Times Now News.

However, there’s more trouble for Crunchyroll, and looking at the info from Downdetector, the number of reported outages spiked today with over 439 reports at the time of writing.

The cause of the outage remains unknown, and there hasn’t been any announcement from Crunchyroll regarding this issue.

Users onReddit reported error 502and this indicates that there’s a problem with the gateway:

Ok, so for me the issue was that said domain was unreacheable though my VPN, once disabled it appears to work fine again
