Zoom will soon support Microsoft 365 apps integration, as Microsoft and Zoom partnered up to forge a new program:Microsoft 365 Document Collaboration Partner Program(MDCPP), a first of its kind that will see Microsoft 365 be available to a plethora of other platforms.
If you’re an independent software vendor (ISV) who provides a cloud communication and collaboration platform, you may want to offer customers a collaboration experience inside and outside meetings. That’s why we are excited to introduce the Microsoft 365 Document Collaboration Partner Program (MDCPP), a new opportunity for eligible platform providers to integrate Microsoft 365 apps into their platforms. Whether it’s a presentation, a spreadsheet, or a document, the program can enable users to share, edit, and coauthor, without switching between apps or losing context.
ISV everywhere will have to opportunity to join the program and reach a wider audience by providing access to Microsoft 365 apps such as Word, PowerPoint, or Excel through their platforms.
The Microsoft 365 Document Collaboration Partner Program (MDCPP) will provide ISV with two ways they can integrate their platform with Microsoft 365:

ISVs that are interested in joining the program must provide cloud communication and collaboration services, such as video/audio communication services, then they’ll have to pay a fee, initial, and then annual, and they also have to maintain certain levels of insurance coverage.

For now, the program will allow integration with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneDrive for Business, but the Redmond-based tech giant could add Copilot to it as well, as the AI tool was integratedinto Microsoft 365a few months ago.
