Helldivers 2 has been quite the success for Sony and Arrowhead, following its release on PlayStation 5 and Windows PCs, with many Xbox gamers begging for the studio to bring the game to Xbox consoles, as well.
While we don’t know if it’s going to happen, there is a petition for itgoing on currently, so everything is possible. However, even though the game is not on Xbox yet, people have already started comparing the game with the popular HALO franchise.
While the two games have some points in common, they are quite different from one another, but that didn’t stop the comparison. On X (formerly known as Twitter),a particular comparisonattached the eye of the Arrowhead’s CEO.
Sorry Xbots, but everyone knows it’s the TRUTH.pic.twitter.com/ciIBbZS0b7
Arrowhead is the studio behind developing Helldivers 2, and when the game was unfavorably compared to HALO, its CEO, Johan Pilestedt, left a powerful piece of advice to any gamer, not just the one that made the comparison.
Why compare? Just let gamers love and enjoy both, either or neither. We need more compassion and union in the world, and less rivalry.

When someone else added that a bit of rivalry doesn’t hurt, especially when it’s friendly, Johan said:
Indeed. Also in business. Neither monopoly or cut-throat competition makes the world a better place.

This piece of advice goes beyond gaming comparisons, but Pilestedt is right. There should be no comparisons between games, and gamers should be allowed to enjoy their favorite games without being judged for it.
While there is a strong possibility Helldivers could make it to Xbox Series S, and X, until then, multiple former Xbox-exclusive games will be released to PlayStation 5 and other platforms, in the future, with games such asPentiment or Hi-Fibeing the first announced.
Other companiesthat make PlayStation-exclusive games announced their intention to bring their games to Xbox, as well.
So, while many Xbox users are frustrated about this decision, it seems that the gaming industry is slowly letting the console wars fade away. Should we hope for a future where people can enjoy games on whatever console they see fit? Maybe.
