iRobot Roomba Essential robovac Q0120:was $249.99 now$149.98 at AmazonThis basic Roomba robot vacuum just dropped to the lowest price ever, ahead of Black Friday. It navigates in neat rows, there’s three levels of suction plus a side brush for getting closer to the edges of rooms. Don’t expect incredible smarts or features, but if you just need something simple, effective and great value, this is it. This model doesn’t have mopping functionality, but the Combo version is alsoon sale, for just $10 more.
iRobot Roomba Combo Essential:was $274.99 now$159 at AmazonThis is iRobot’s most basic and affordable combination mop-vac, and it has had a massive price-cut for black Friday – this the cheapest price ever. There’s 3 suction levels and 3 water levels, alongside basic navigation and object avoidance, and that’s about it. But for this price, that’s still a great buy.
If you don’t want the mopping, the vac-only version is alsoon sale, for $10 lessthan this combo model.
Best Buy price:$159.99
Roborock Q8 Max+:was $819.99 now$459.99 at AmazonIt’s rare that this model is sold at full price, but this is an especially good deal on the Q8 Max+. We haven’t tested this exact model, but Roborock is a reliably great robovac brand, and you’re getting a lot of smarts for that mid-range price – including reactive obstacle avoidance and precise navigation. There’s mopping functionality and the dust cup self-empties into the dock.
Shark ION robovac:was $249.99 now$149.99 at Best BuyThis budget-friendly robovac often gets discounted in the Black Friday sales. It’s another basic model, offering vacuuming, app control and voice control via Alexa or Google Assistant. There are sensors to stop it smashing into too many things, but don’t expect the most advanced obstacle avoidance. This model has been as cheap as $129 in previous years, so there might be further discounts to follow… but there’s not a lot in it, really.

iRobot Roomba Combo j7+:was £999 now£549 at AmazonThis excellent combination vacuum and mop has a massive 45% off ahead of Black Friday, taking it to the lowest price we’ve ever seen, by some margin. This is one of only a handful of Roombas to feature ‘SmartScrub’, where the mopping scrubs with double the power. Cleverly, the mop pad retracts and sits on top of the robovac when it’s vacuuming, to avoid damp carpets. In ourRoomba Combo j7+ review, we were especially impressed with the automatic suction adjustment based on dirt levels.
If you don’t need the mopping, the vac-only j7+ is alsoon sale for £429.
iRobot Roomba j7+:was £879.99 now£429 at AmazonThis excellent robot vacuum is currently less than half price, and the cheapest we’ve ever seen it, by some margin. In ourRoomba j7+ reviewwe were impressed with the dirt pickup and found the self-emptying of dust super useful, too. It comes with a promise to avoid pet messes (amongst other things) and the dual rubber brushrolls are great at gripping and pulling up hair.
If you want something that can mop too, the Combo j7+ is alsoon sale for £549.
Eufy Robovac L60 Hybrid:was £299 now£199 at CurrysThere’s £100 off the combination robot vacuum and mop, making it an absolute steal ahead of Black Friday. There’s 5,000Pa of suction (which much higher than we’d expect at this price), the option to set no-go zones and select room cleaning, plus voice control support via Alexa. This version has a simple charge dock; there is a self-empty option but it’s full price at the moment.
Amazon price:£199

Black Friday robot vacuum deals: FAQs
When will the Black Friday robot vacuum deals start in 2024?
Black Friday this year is on 29 November 2024, but that won’t be your only chance to score a robovac bargain. We started seeing early Black Friday sales kicking off from the first week of November, and we’re expecting most brands and retailers to have launched their ‘proper’ Black Friday sale around Monday 25th, or perhaps even earlier. The Black Friday offers will turn intoCyber Monday dealson or before 2 December.
Is Black Friday the best time to buy a robot vacuum?
Yes, probably. You’ll find robot vacuum discounts throughout the year, but on Black Friday, pretty much everyone is running a sale. You’ll have a huge amount of choice, and you’ll also have the benefit of being able to shop around and compare deals at different retailers. Many brands and retailers use this occasion to offer the lowest prices of the year, and even when that’s not the case, the offers are always very strong.
Where will I find the best Black Friday robovac deals?
In the US last year, Amazon and Walmart were the retailers that came through with the best deals. We’ll also check places like Best Buy, Target and Lowes. In the UK, again Amazon was a great place to shop for a bargain, but we also saw price-drops at Currys. Other places to look include John Lewis and Argos. On both sides of the pond, you can also expect some strong offers direct from the brands – last year, Shark’s Black Friday robot vacuum deals were especially impressive.
Really, though, aside from those that consciously opt out, you can expect every major brand and reputable retailer to have some kind of Black Friday sale. You won’t be sort on choice, so a good plan is to figure out roughly what you want first – or ideally have a target robot vacuum in mind – and then shop around for the lowest price on Black Friday. (If you’re new to the market, our guide tohow to choose a robot vacuumshould help set you on the right track.)
What Black Friday robot vacuum deals can I expect in 2024?
We expect there to be strong discounts from leading brands like iRobot (Roomba), Roborock, Eufy and Ecovacs, with price cuts of up to 50% off. There will likely be the biggest discounts on the high-end models in the range, offering an opportunity to score a really advanced robot vacuum for far less then list price. However, there will be plenty for bargain hunters, too. if you just need a basic model that will take the pressure off your cleaning regime. Last year, we saw simple robovacs from $139 in US and £259 in the UK.
