The stars may not be aligning appropriately for Windows phones, but they definitely are for Windows game listings. After the introduction of major AAA titles on Windows Store, including Rise of the Tomb Raider,Gears of War 4,Forza Horizon 3, Quantum Break, Activision’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered join the party as well.
Fans have been wishing for the Remastered version of Modern Warfare Remastered ever since Activisionannouncedthat the Digital Deluxe Edition of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare would feature the critically acclaimed 2007 hit with dynamic 4K graphics, detailed textures, HD range lighting and lots more.
The sudden appearance of the much-awaited titles in the Windows store is a surprise element of surprise, but let’s not forget here that the listings are only meant for PCs and would most likely not work on the Xbox Play Anywhere program. That is a definite let down for users who were longing to enjoy the gaming experience to its fullest by playing on their PCs as well as consoles.
Although there hasn’t been any official news for the game’s possible inclusion in the Windows Store, given the extent of details in the title specification that is mentioned on the listing, it does look quite convincing. But nothing is concrete at the moment and Activision may end up leaving the grayed out purchase button of the title as is on the Windows Store.
Complete with a VR experience, Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is scheduled to launch on November 4, 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Of course, we will be featuring any new update that pops up regarding Call of Duty’s possible release on Windows Store, so stay tuned.
