While we have talked aboutWindows 12 for PCfor a long time, the imagined OS on mobile is even more aesthetically pleasing and user-oriented! But, will it take Microsoft back to its days of glory in the mobile space?
AR 4789, a concept creator who previously gave us a peek intowhat Windows 12 wouldbe like, has now come up with another video envisioning Windows 12 on mobile. If we were to describe the imagined OS in one word, it’stempting!
A refreshing concept, at par with Android and iOS
In our opinion, the concept forWindows 12 Mobileis loosely based on Windows 11. TheSettingsapp andFile Explorerresemble the ones on the current iteration. But having it on a mobile certainly is both visually appealing and user-friendly!
The concept featuresMicrosoft Copilot,Microsoft Store,Media Player,Microsoft Photos,Microsoft 365(previouslyMicrosoft Office),Notepad,Paint, and several other apps that are a part of the Windows ecosystem.
Many have already requested Microsoft to revive Windows phones and introduce one with Windows 12. This highlights an undisputed fact. Even though Windows phones failed, they had a massive following, and the community still has its hopes up!
Will there be a Windows 12 Mobile?
While there was speculation from several quarters about therelease of Windows 12, Microsoft instead came up with anupdate for the latest iteration, Windows 11 24H2. This means, there will be no Windows 12, at least in 2024!
So, it seems unlikely that Microsoft is planning a Windows 12 mobile. Besides, after the debacle of Windows-based phones and their subsequent discontinuation in 2019, Microsoft will surely take more time to reinvent a device that can compete with Android and iOS, if that’s ever the case.
But the concept byAR 4789has surely got us excited! Almost all comments on the video were positive and people wantedWindows 12 Mobileto be an actual thing, powered by Microsoft.
Quite honestly, we do hope Microsoft listens to the community and releases a Windows 12 mobile. There are surely millions of takers for it!
Would you buy a Windows 12 mobile if Microsoft releases one? Tell us in the comments section.
