Sometimes you need a family member’s password to access a specific account, and getting their login information isn’t always simple.
If you ever had this problem, you’ll be pleased to hear that Google is working on a new feature that will allow family members to easily share their passwords.
Google will make password sharing easier on Chrome for Android
According to theAndroid Police, it seems that Google might bring password sharing to Android devices. Apparently, there are flags in Google Play Services version 24.09.12 that keep mentioning this feature.
This feature will only work for accounts with passwords, and it can be used only within Google family groups. With it, users should be able to tap the share button when viewing credentials and send the password to family members.
While this feature sounds great, you can’t use it yet, even after enabling the necessary flags. Password sharing is likely in the testing phase, and we don’t know if we’ll ever get a chance to see this feature.
Hopefully, Google will release it to the public soon. If you’re eager for new features, you’ll be pleased to hearChrome has improved your search suggestions in the latest update, so don’t miss this update.
