In case you didn’t know Microsoft Copilot is capable of keeping up a history of all the conversations you have with the tool. In Microsoft Teams,it can be accessed quite easily. You can also access it on Windows 10, Windows 11, or Microsoft Edge.
Now, according to the tech enthusiast,@Leopeva64, Edge will finally let users delete their entire Copilot chat history at once with just a few clicks. If previously, users had to delete each entry in the AI tool’s chat history, now it is possible to get rid of it altogether.
You can now delete your entire chat history with a couple of clicks in Edge Copilot, previously you had to delete the different entries one by one, and the layout of the chat box has changed, now all the buttons appear at the bottom and on the right side:https://t.co/8nGPp3h608pic.twitter.com/nzJuON9Mrw
Here’s how to do it:
The entire Copilot chat history can be deleted with just 3 clicks on Edge. Since all the Microsoft Copilots follow the same design pattern, this button could be released on Windows Copilot, and the other Copilots out there, as well.
The button is currently available on Edge Canary, although it will be released to the stable channel in the following weeks. Edge Dev 124 was released earlier this month, and this week, the build arrived on the Beta channel, as well, with a lot of new features, including an updatedFirst Experience Run, that could potentially make the browser popular with new users.
Copilot, on the other hand, is getting to other Windows native apps, such asthe Photos app, which now supports the AI tool, and it’s capable of coming up with slideshows, searching up favorite images, and even using them to change the desktop background.
The app must be updated to the latest version, but once that is done, Copilot should appear right after opening it up. We don’t know for sure if you can erase Copilot’s chat history, there as well, but most likely, Microsoft will update it with this enhancement, in the following weeks.
