Microsoft Edge, one of the most secure browsers, recently released another security update in theStable (Version 121.0.2277.98)andExtended Stable (Version 120.0.2210.167)channels to address theCVE-2024-21399vulnerability.

The latest patch affects the Microsoft Edge app on Windows and Android operating systems.
It will eliminate the possibility of an attacker exploiting theCVE-2024-21399vulnerability to get you to an especially crafted unsafe website through Microsoft Edge. As per Microsoft, this is usually achieved through sending an instant message, an email, or an attachment in an email.
To download Microsoft Edge’s security update targeting theCVE-2024-21399vulnerability, launch the browser > click the ellipsis near the top right > selectSettings> go toAbout Microsoft Edge> and let the browser downloadVersion 121.0.2277.98.
