We see artificial intelligence everywhere, and almost everybody is familiar with ChatGPT. But what if we could take GPT technology and add it to a robot?

That’s exactly what Microsoft, OpenAI, and Figure did, and the results are impressive.

Microsoft, OpenAI, and Figure joined forces recentlyto bring GPT technology to humanoid robots. The results are finally here asNew Atlas reportsand they are amazing.

In the latest video, we can see Figure 01 performing basic tasks, all while giving reasoning for its actions in real-time.

Figure’s Brett Adcock stated that Figure 01 integrated camera sends data to a large vision-language model trained by OpenAI while Figure’s neural network takes images at 10Hz through the built-in cameras.

Thanks to the OpenAI, the robot can understand speech while the neural net is used for performing dexterous actions.

Figure 01 is an amazing leap in robotics, and all of this was achieved just after two weeks of collaboration, so we can’t wait to see what advancements will we see in the future.
