Firefox is an amazing browser for all users who make their privacy a priority, and Mozilla is frequently updating it with new features.

It seems the new update is coming, so let’s dive into it and see what we can expect.

Firefox 124 is coming today, here’s what’s new

Firefox has been in the spotlight recently, especially becauseFirefox userbase is on the rise in the EU. The new update is coming today, but it’s not the one with theimproved screenshot featurethat we recently covered.

The new update brings caret browsing to PDFs, which will make navigation easier. Firefox View has been improved, and now you can sort tabs based on their activity or tab order.

This version also populates Windows Taskbar lists more efficiently, thus making your browser experience smoother.

Qwant has expanded to all languages in the France region, as well as Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, and Switzerland. Similarly,

Ecosia is now available to all languages in the German region along with previously mentioned regions, including also Sweden and Austria.

As for macOS changes, this version of Firefox uses macOS fullscreen API for all types of fullscreen windows thus improving macOS user experience.

The update brings various security fixes, and developers will be pleased to hear that there’s now support for AbortSignal.any and HTTP(S) and relative URLs when creating WebSockets.

Overall, it’s a decent update, and we expect to see it later today, so be sure to get it.
