1. Add a new keyboard layout on Windows 10

A keyboard layout can be easily added to your device via Settings. You need to navigate to the Time & Language section and manually select a new layout to add.

By configuring keyboard layouts, you will be able to use your PC’s keyboard to write characters in the languages of your choice.

  1. Open the search utility with theWindows+Shotkey.

  2. Enter the keywordkeyboardin the search box.

  3. Click onEdit language and keyboard optionsto open the window shown directly below.

  4. Select English, or another language of your choice, on that window.

  5. ClickOptionsto open the settings shown directly below.

  6. Then press onAdd a keyboardto select an English or foreign keyboard layout from the drop-down menu.

  7. Users can then switch to the new keyboard layout by pressing theWindows+Spacebarhotkey. Keep pressing theSpacebarto cycle through the input methods and select the one required.
