Otherwise, you can write the recovery file to your USB via the command line by entering the following:bzcat steamdeck-recovery-1.img.bz2 | dd if=/dev/stdin of=/dev/sdX oflag=sync status=progress bs=128M(set /dev/sdX to the USB device you inserted)

Use aUSB-C adapter or hubto plug in theboot disk.
8.If yourSteam Deckis not already powered down,shut it down.
9.Hold theVolume Downand thePower Buttonsimultaneously until you hear the chime, and you’ll be booted into theBoot Manager.

In theBoot Manager,boot from theEFI USB Device (your USB key).

Do not panic, as the screen will go dark while booting (within a minute).

Once the booting is completed, you will be on adesktop, and you can navigate using thetrackpad and trigger.

You will be able toreset/re-image Steam Deck.
How do I access Steam Deck BIOS?
Hold the Volume Up button to access the Steam Deck BIOS and simultaneously press the Power button. Your Steam Deck should boot into the BIOS menu.
