Opera GX, the browser dedicated to gamers (and different fromthe regular Opera), has introduced a limited plugin, Heartblocker, available on February 13, 14, and 15, with the sole purpose of blocking anything related to the Valentine’s Day celebration.

In a press release, Opera says Heartblocker will replace certain ‘sweet’ words with their more pragmatic counterparts, and pinky-colored designs with a more darkened color.

Introducing the Heartblocker browser extension designed to keep your online experience free from love-themed text and images. The Text Replacement feature scans your online content for love-theme words and replaces them with more neutral terminology. For example, the term ‘Valentine’s Day’ is replaced with ‘14th February’, ‘kiss’ becomes ‘mouth to mouth contact’, while ‘couple’ becomes ‘romantic situation’.

To make it even better, Heartblocker comes in 2 modes:

The extension is available in many languages, including English, French, Spanish, German, and Polish, and it can be downloaded by visiting theofficial webpage. It’s worth mentioning, once again, that it only works on Opera GX, and below, you can see some examples:
