Intel’s Arrow and Raptor Lake CPUs will be part of the Core 200 series

Intel will brand its new-gen CPUs under the Core 200 series. Thus, Arrow Lake will be the Core Ultra 200, andRaptor Lakewill be the Core 200H. In addition, they will be available for both laptop and PC users. Also, the Arrow Lake CPUs will rival theAMD Ryzen Zen 5in performance and efficiency. On top of that, the Raptor Lake-H series will get a refresh and turn into a new lineup of affordable chips.

What do we know so far about the Core 200 CPUs?

According toGolden Pig Upgrade, a trustworthy leaker from BiliBili, Intel will name Arrow Lake CPUs Core Ultra 200. So, you should expect to see Core Ultra 9 2XXH and Core Ultra 7 2XXU. Also, the new chips will have both U(ultra-low power) and H(high-performance) StockKeeping Units (SKUs).

In addition, the Arrow Lake Core Ultra 200 CPUs come in three flavors: HX, H, and U. On top of that, they will feature 6 Lion Cove P-Cores and 8 Skymont E-Cores. Furthermore, the integrated GPU (iGPU) will use the Xe-LPG Alchemist architecture, and some of the newer SKUs will use theAlchemist+ Xe-LPG+. However, the Arrow Lake HX CPUs will use the same silicone chips as the desktop SKUs. So, they will feature 8 P-Cores and 16 E-Cores.

The Raptor Lake-H Refresh series will fall under the Core 200H branding. On top of that, they will feature 6 P-Cores (Raptor Cove) and 8 E-Cores (Gracemont core architecture). Also, you can use them for high-end gaming.

There aren’t any mentions of a Raptor Lake-U lineup. So, this could mean that Intel will keep its Meteor Lake SKUs for the entry-level segment of the market.

Ultimately, Intel is refreshing the Raptor Lake-H series because the company wants to balance performance and price. By doing this, they will keep the Raptor Lake for mid-range and entry-level segments. Thus, Arrow Lake CPUs will be for premium designs. You can expect to see the new Core 200 series CPUs by the end of this year or early 2025. Also, they might come with theLunar LakeMX CPUs. Yet, we don’t know much about their branding.
