According to anX post by eXtas1slinked toExputer, Microsoft has an all digital Xbox Series X console in the works that will be launched in June or July this year.
It all goes back tolast year’s documentsthat were disclosed during the Microsoft vs. FTC fight and which depicted anadorably all-digitalXbox Series X console code-named Brooklin.
At that time, Xbox’s Phil Spencerdenied the rumoursbasically saying that the leaked document is old and meaningless.
Is really Microsoft launching an all digital console in summer?
Exputer doesn’t really have much to show about this leak except mentioning the $499 U.S. price that shows up in the old document and a 1 TB storage space, based onconfidential footage.
The story doesn’t seem unbelievable but it’s certainly not about the upcomingXbox handheld consoletouted asthe biggest generational leap for an Xbox console ever.
Allegedly, the new Series X console will not be cylindrical, but almost identical to the current Xbox design only in white instead of black.
The leak doesn’t include any actual pictures of the console, but it mentions an improved heatsink and an upgraded Nexus card.
If the story will prove to be true, we will see new details about it soon enough.
What do you think about a new all-digital Xbox console? Let’s discuss about it in the comments section below.
