There were previously reports ofMicrosoft working on an all-digital console. Now, leaked images shared byExputerconfirm these speculations.

Microsoft’s new Xbox Series X features an all-white exterior with no disc drive. There have been no modifications to the ports or peripherals. And the design is similar to the present Xbox Series X.

As for changes to the components,Exputerreports that there have been a few minor upgrades. For instance, the new all-digital Xbox Series X features an upgraded heatsink to cool down the console quickly and keep the temperatures under check.

The price for the new Xbox Series X is expected to be in the $399-$449 range. This is based on reports that the new console will cost $50-$100 lower than the present Xbox Series X.

The information presented here has so far not been corroborated by Microsoft, and there’s been no official statement. But with the photos emerging, it’s quite certain that this will be the new Xbox Series X.

Besides, Microsoft was expected to go all digital with the new console.90% of the game sales last year were digital, with a similar pattern emerging across gaming platforms, including PlayStation and Nintendo.

With a digital console, you can play games on the cloud or download them on the built-in or external storage. So, the gameplay or experience remains unaltered. The only that changes is how you get the game!
