Lately, Microsoft is all about bold moves, whether it is addingMicrosoft Copilotto its business tools or introducingAI-powered features in Teams.
The Redmond-based tech giant is busy working on the latest update code nameHudson Valley, which is speculatedly called Windows 12 or Windows 11 24H2, and it looks like we will get our hands on it by the end of 2024.
Most of the tech enthusiasts earlier leaned on the possibility of it being a Windows 12 release, but now, after the code name Germanium started making circulations, people started thinking it might be the Windows 11 24H2 update.
Last year’s release, Windows 23H2, brought substantial changes, including the introduction of an AI assistant, Microsoft Copilot.
This year’s update is not expected to be any different, and most of the features introduced are rumored to be centered around artificial intelligence.
Microsoft has yet to comment on new feature updates for Windows 11, revised system requirements, and other improvements.
However, that’s not stopping Windows enthusiasts from adding up the clues to speculate about the upcoming Windows version.
Arecent post on X(formerly known as Twitter) by XenoPanther, popularly known for tracking Windows developments, bugs and builds, stated:
There has been a build jump for internal canary! 26047 > 27547
The big jump from 26047 to 27545 points towards the possibility of a new version or a brand new release in the wraps. And, if we check the previous release pattern, the drastic jump in build numbers indicated a brand new release, so is this what we think is happening?
Following Xeno’s post, a lot of people showed a great deal of enthusiasm and are excited about the release of Windows 12.
As of now, we don’t have any official confirmations; all we can do is speculate about the reasons for the jump.
Speaking of new releases, we can expect the Moment 5 update to be released as an optional update in the last week of February 2024. This implies Devs and Beta channels can take on Windows 11 24H2, leaving Canary free for the next version of Windows, or so we hope!
