We finally have a confirmation that ray tracing is coming to Diablo 4, and the developers are aiming for a March-end release.
Adam Fletcher,Global Community Development DirectoratDiablo, in the latest campfire chat, confirmed the release. He also informed that an official blog post detailing every aspect concerning the PC and console version of the game will be out by next week.

NVIDIA has previously confirmed the date to beMarch 26, 2024. According to the guys at NVIDIA, the update will add two ray tracing effects to Diablo 4, shadow and reflection.
With ray tracing, Diablo 4 graphics are looking at a major upgrade.Ray tracing in Dying Light 2enhances the entire experience, and we expect something similar in Diablo 4.
As it turns out, new driver releases are also supporting ray tracing in Diablo 4,Intel Game On driver version31.0.101.5379being one.
