Many were blown away when they first saw Sora AI in action, but unfortunately, the service isn’t available to the public yet.
That’s about to change, and we might get a chance to try Sora AI in the near future.
Sora AI will launch sometime in 2024, according to Open AI’s CTO
New Sora AI showcase videos look amazing, we can all agree on that, but the question that has been on everyone’s mind for months is when can we finally use Sora?
Asreported by Neowin, that shouldn’t take too long, and it’s expected to see this service available someday in 2024.
The service is currently being tested by a handful of users, but according to OpenAI’s CTO, Mira Murati, we should see Sora AI available to the public later in 2024.
While no exact date was given, she said that it could be a few months before the official release. Murati also stated that the company is working on adding audio to Sora’s clips as well as editing tools.
Regarding the pricing, Murati said that OpenAI would like to price Sora similarly to its DALL-E 3 AI art creator while noting that Sora is much more expensive in terms of power and maintenance.
Lastly, Microsoft’s Mikhail Parakhin confirmed that Sora AI will make its way to Copilot, but it will take some time for the two services to be fully integrated.
Eventually, but it will take time.
Are you excited about Sora AI as much as we are? Let us know in the comments!
