Microsoft’s push for AI in Windows and across all its native software has been evident in the last few months. Now, the Redmond-based tech giant is holding an exclusive event to share the company’s plans for AI, both development and deployment.
According to reports inThe Verge, Microsoft has emailed invites to journarlists to attend theMay 20AI event, scheduled for morning, a day before theMicrosoft Build 2024event starts.
TheMay 20event won’t be live-streamed and will only be open to media persons who received an invite.
What can you expect from the May 20 event?
Microsoft is set to showcase the ARM-basedSurface Pro 10andSurface Laptop 6for the first time during the event. This dispels previous rumours of thetwo arriving as early as March.
Surface Pro 10andSurface Laptop 6run on theSnapdragon X Eliteprocessor andfeature a dedicated NPU(Neural Processing Unit)to fast-track AI tasks on your Windows PC.
Also, during theMay 20event, we will find out more about Microsoft’s plan for AI integration in Windows. The newAI-based File Explorercould be a highlight!
Lastly, Microsoft Copilot may take the central stage. The tech giant has extensively worked on the AI-based chatbot and integrated it into practically everything for users to leverage the power of AI,Microsoft Security Copilotbeing a prime example!
