Microsoft and OpenAI recently published a report chronicling the ascension of a new sort of cyber threat:the AI-powered cyberattacksthat were enabled by threat actors all over the world, from Asia to the Middle East.
The two companies assured users everywhere that they eliminated all Microsoft and ChatGPT accounts related to these actors, and urged their customers to become aware of and educated on the means to prevent and resolve these cyberattacks.
Now, a few weeks later, the Redmond-based tech giant announced the Microsoft Secure event, a conference where the company will talk about and teach participants how to defend their enterprises against such cyber attacks by using AI.
The event is a digital one, and it will last for about 2 hours. It will take place on March 13, 2024, from 9:00 AM-1:00 AM PT, and those wishing to participate canregister now.
Microsoft Secure is a two-hour digital showcase that will focus on product announcements and immediate use cases for new capabilities. Join thousands of other cybersecurity professionals inspired by AI’s promise and eager to gain product knowledge for an advantage over bad actors.
The event will have a keynote and customer story, where Microsoft will showcase the capabilities of theCopilot for Security, as well as how to use AI alongside the features of Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Entra to secure and govern its powers.
On the other side, the Microsoft Secure event will also have practical sessions, where participants will learn to defend their enterprises with AI tools, asthe official blog post says:
