Microsoft updatedthe26058buildto the Canary and Dev insider channels, with new and useful features for Windows Copilot, including the addition ofthe Power Automate plugin, effectively allowing users to use Copilot for Excel, PDF manipulation, and file management.

The Power Automate plugin can now be downloaded fromthe Microsoft Store, and you’ll need to be logged in with a Microsoft account to be able to use it on Windows Copilot. It’s worth mentioning that, for now, the Power Automate is only available in the Windows Insider Channel.

Microsoft says users should be able to task Copilot with a lot of new requests, and the Redmond-based tech giant offered some examples:

Aside from the Power Automate, Microsoft also updated Copilot with more built-in features, and for these, users won’t have to install any external plugins. However, it is recommended they should install the latest Dev and Canary updates.

The new built-in features will transform Copilot into a valuable Windows assistant, and users won’t have to manually go through Windows’ Settings page to set options up. Microsoft provided Copilot with new requests that will turn on the battery saver, empty the recycle bin, show the available networks, and so on.
