Windows 11 hasn’t been as big a success as Microsoft would have imagined. As perStatcounter, only27.83%of Windows PCs are running the latest iteration.
Strict system requirements are a major reason a few of you couldn’t make the upgrade, but even otherwise, so many continued with Windows 10. It still has ahigher market share than Windows 11, even three years after the release of the latter.
This year, it looks like Microsoft is keen on getting users to switch to Windows 11, what it calls thebest Windows yet.
First,Microsoft sent upgrade alerts to Windows 10 users, and now it has come up with an ad to highlight the benefits of Windows 11.
Microsoft’s new ad dispels apprehension concerning Windows 11
Microsoft’s latest ad titled,Start Fresh Without Starting Over with Windows 11, highlights how upgrading to the latest iteration won’t be as challenging as you would believe. On the contrary, it will be a seamless transition to a more user-friendly OS.
The54-secondad puts the spotlight on three critical aspects of Windows 11:
Personally speaking, the flawless upgrade process, easy-to-navigate interface, a redesignedSettingsapp, improved performance(specifically gaming), better touchscreen functionality, andrevamped tablet modeare the primary reasons Windows 11 seems a better choice than the previous iteration.
At the same time, there are a fewdisadvantages of Windows 11that act as a deterrent to mass adoption. In recent releases, Microsoft has tried to eliminate many of these!
It will be evident in a few days whether the new Microsoft ad will get people to upgrade. But as we near theEnd of Support (EoS)for Windows 10, the number of users installing Windows 11 will certainly witness an uptick.
If haven’t yet upgraded to Windows 11, do share your reason for it in the comments section.
