Microsoft Teams has introduced App Ratings and Reviews in the platform, allowing users to rate apps and leave reviews for those that made an impact on their daily activity in Teams.According to the announcement, this new option will allow users to get feedback and interact with others on apps they want to install or have installed already.
If you ask us, Microsoft should have implemented this option sooner, but it’s never too late: this new feature is part of what Microsoft promised for Teams, last month. In October, the Redmond-based tech giant debuted a new default client for Teams, dubbed the new Teams, orTeams 2.0.
Microsoft says this new version is faster and optimized for modern applications. The company also said that Teams will get more new features, and here we are.
The new App Ratings and Reviews should be available to everyone using Microsoft Teams. Just make sure your Teams is updated to the latest version.
How to leave a review on Microsoft Teams apps
Users won’t have to do anything to enable the new App Ratings and Reviews, as the option will be automatically added when updating Teams to the latest version.
Once you open Teams, going to the App section will automatically enable the new layout for App Ratings and Reviews, as you can see in the image below.
You’ll easily be able to rate an app and leave a review for it, by clicking on the said app and assigning a rating.
Once you’ve done that, all you have to do is clickSubmitand that’s it. As you can see, you can rate an app from 1 star to 5 stars, and once you’ve submitted your review, other users can choose to vote as helpful or not.
Plus, Microsoft Teams will encourage you to rate any app that you’ve installed and review them. Of course, this is not mandatory and you can opt out of it if you like.
