Windows 11 preview build comes with an automatic super resolution feature for us. Moreover, the feature is similar to DLSS or FSR. However, it might not be as potent as they are.

So, if you want a quick performance boost while playing, this feature might lead to it. Also, you can enable Game Mode to boost your performance if you haven’t already.

What is AI Super Resolution?

The AI super resolution is a feature that renders a picture at a lower resolution, then upscales it. This process uses AI, and it might affect the FPS in games. Additionally, most newer games have this option in their settings.

Furthermore, you can adjust the Windows AI super resolution to put an emphasis on performance or quality. Yet, the Windows AI Super Resolution, doesn’t seem to change anything for now. Yet, when it will work you should be able to see a quality difference.

To turn this feature on, go to Settings, then to the Display tab, and select the Graphics tab. There you will find the option for the Windows automatic super resolution. However, don’t forget that you can only access it if you have the Windows 11 build 26052 or the latest preview build available.

This feature might not work for us right away. There are chances that it needs special hardware that’s capable of using AI, such as anIntel Core Ultra Processor. However, we will discover more about this feature when it is officially released.

Many features are coming to Windows, such as thebuilt-in snapping toolthat got a revamp or themic test utility.

What do you think? Are you going to use this new feature while gaming? Let us know in the comments.
