Microsoft’s nextXbox consolerelease will be delayed as the Redmond tech giant was taking its time to sign the contract with the technology partner AMD.
According to a podcaster, Moore’s Law is Dead, Microsoft was shopping around with NVIDIA and Intel before settling down to get leverage over the deal with AMD.
In the meantime, Sony has signed more than one contract with AMD after releasing PS5, indicating that Sony is way ahead in the game.
Intel also seemed to be super interested in the deal and might offer a more enticing deal at a lower rate.
However, another report suggested that Microsoft has now started designing with AMD, but Sony is already ahead in the process, so Microsoft has to play catch up. To finish it in time, the process might be a little rushed and possibly might have issues.
If you areplanning to switch to Xbox from PS, we have a detailed guide to help you make the choice.
Well, all of this will be known in the future, until then, we can just wait & watch. What do you think about this? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
